Our 24/7 news aggregator crowdsources news through a large community of DeFi enthusiasts who curate and check headlines as we compete to earn $SQUID. The result is a fast and accurate news feed that delves into the deepest crevasses of DeFi, Web3, and beyond.

What is Leviathan’s Mission?

Once per month, the monstrous and magickal Leviathan floats through town, dropping $SQUID on everybody who helps us build the world's preeminent decentralized news organization.

$SQUID is the native ecosystem token that lubricates our news pipeline. Each month 1 million SQUID get minted as rewards for completing various tasks around the ecosystem.

How do I exert editorial control over the news?

The easiest way to get started is to help us review the pipeline of news. Most of our news curation occurs via our Telegram bot:

When you join the Telegram bot, you can take the following steps:

Use the

/regulate

command to toggle regulator mode, where you can vote on incoming news stories and propose edits

As a regulator, you'll receive a control panel in your DMs with commands to help regulate the news.

Click “Send” if you believe the news is good, or “Kill” if you think the news should be deleted. We’ll review your voting history when determining eligibility for airdrops or promotions, so be careful not to vote “Send” on a fake story.

You can earn extra points for clicking “Edit,” which brings up additional options to adjust the headline, media, or source link. When you’re done, click “Send”

If the firehose of news is ever too overwhelming, simply type

/regulate

to toggle out of regulator mode.

How do I become eligible to earn SQUID?
